The Star is surrounded by prime walking territory and is an enjoyable pursuit for many guests.
We offer an excellent base from which to discover numerous public footpaths and bridle ways throughout the Cuckmere Valley and beyond.
Perhaps one of the most famous routes is The South Downs Way, which passes right by our front door and if you so wish, it will take you to Eastbourne or as far as the City of Winchester.
The South Downs provides a stunning topography for walkers, naturalists or for those who just want to bob around the minor roads and take in the beautiful scenery and quaint Sussex Villages.
