The Capella is The Star's AA rosette restaurant. Head Chef David Shiers and his brigade are proud to create a modern British menu with classical French influences.

The Capella is an open and airy dining room featuring exposed oak beams and subtle historic character. The daily menu offers fresh, locally sourced produce. We offer mid-week a bistro style menu and a fine dining menu on Friday and Saturday evenings. Some samples of dishes from the weekend menu include: a starter of Seared Scallops with Pea Puree with a Mixed Spice Sauce. David's signature dish is a main course of Ashmore Farm Loin of Lamb with Dauphinoise Potatoes and Ratatouille. Be sure to enjoy one of his delicious desserts to finish such as Praline Parfait with Caramel Ice Cream.

Midweek Bistro Menu includes sample items such as Citrus Marinated Red Mullet with Prawns starter and main course of Honey Glazed Pork Chop, Vitelotte Potatoes in Garlic Cream with Carrot and Courgette Mousse. Another fabulous signature dessert to finish, Chef’s amazing and very popular, White Chocolate Torte with Homemade Chocolate Ice Cream

The Capella is open seven days a week for dinner from 7:00pm-9:00pm and opens from 12noon-2:30pm on Sundays for our mouth-watering Sunday Lunch menu. Children are welcome. We offer children's portions of the Table d’Hote menu or there is also a children's menu available.
