Clergy House
Dating from the 14th century, ‘Wealden 'Hall House' , aka The Clergy House, was the first building to be acquired by the National Trust in 1896.
Set in Alfriston’s idyllic village green, the thatched, timber-framed house features views across the River Cuckmere and a delightful, tranquil cottage garden. NT shop on site.
Open Mon, Wed, Thurs, Sat and Sun 10.30am to 5pm (11am to 4pm from October to December).
